‘Rodeo’ is the fifth in my ‘Silk Scarf’ series that originates from my interest in design featuring both the original art work and also limited edition silk scarves.

I have been painting in a style of hyper realism or photo realism though lately I am enjoying a looser style of painting that allows more energy to express through me. This work expresses something I have said many times on my life journey, most often using my inside voice. “It’s not my first rodeo!” Now I say it with my brush channelling a younger spirit with this message while preparing for my Southwest art exhibitions happening here in Fall Winter 2026 for this debut.
