Breakfast

‘Beach’ is the fourth in my ‘Silk Scarf’ series that originates from my interest in design featuring both the original art work and also limited edition silk scarves.

I have been painting in a style of hyper realism or photo realism though lately I am enjoying a looser style of painting that allows more energy to express through me. This work features an iconic personality evoking the beauty and grace of a bygone era. The setting introduces light sources from every direction so I reveled in capturing the soft focus dazzle of lights in contrast to the sharp contrast of Audrey’s ‘Holly’ front, side and back lit making for an intimate encounter.
